Rev. Johnmark Brown, Pastor

Pastor Johnmark has been married to his high school sweetheart, Amy, since July 1993.  Together, they have two children, Rebeka, and Aaron. Both Johnmark and Amy are graduates of The Baptist College of Florida and have served together in three Southern Baptist churches with Johnmark fulfilling the roles of youth leader and pastor.

In his spare time, Johnmark enjoys NFL football, especially the Tampa Bay Bucs, and hiking in the beautiful High Country which he and Amy are both glad to now call home.  Pastor Johnmark also enjoys shooting sports and riding his motorcycle, but he is especially in love with his Jesus and his wife Amy.

Rev. Kent G. Garver, Minister of Music

Kent moved to the Boone area from Memphis, Tennessee in 2007. He is a graduate of Liberty University, and loves Jesus and the music He gives us to sing to Him in our hearts.

His passion and training in music began in childhood and has been a lifelong pursuit of his ever since. Kent is both an accomplished musician and choir director, and has served as the Minister of Music at Brushy Fork since early 2016.

Kent's favorite verse is from Psalm 150, "Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord."

Kristin Trivette, Youth Director and Treasurer

Kristin has been a lifelong member of Brushy Fork. She and her husband, J.M., have two wonderful children, Faith and A.J.

She has served as a youth leader and a bible school director, and has a passion to see the gospel spread to the ends of the earth.
